Our commitment to our Clients

  • All treatments provided by Balance and Wellness will last for the specified duration. I.e. a 45 minute treatment will last 45 minutes. 
  • All clients must complete a client consultation before any treatment can commence. This can take approximately 15 minutes including a discussion with the therapist. All clients should arrive for their appointment with enough time to complete the consultation. 
  • Treatment will only commence if the therapist deems it safe to continue based on the outcome of the consultation. 
  • GP/Consultant permission may be required prior to treatment in some cases. 

Booking and Cancellation Policy

  • A booking can be made via phone/email/website. 
  • All bookings are based on availability and require a 50% deposit at time of booking. For bookings made via phone or email, deposit must be paid within 48 hours. 
  • Bookings are confirmed with a confirmed deposit payment and a booking confirmation from Balance and Wellness
  • If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of treatment or you do not attend the appointment, the deposit will not be refunded and a new booking will need to be made.  
  • Bookings cancelled within 2 days can be amended but not refunded. 
  • Bookings cancelled over 2 days of treatment, can be cancelled and deposit refunded.
  • Where Balance and Wellness cancels an appointment, clients will be offered the opportunity to reschedule within 2 weeks of the cancelled appointment or receive a refund of their deposit.
  • Balance and Wellness has the right to cancel a treatment if the client is intoxicated or inebriated.

Covid policy

  • If a client is experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 or has knowingly come into contact with someone with Covd-19 symptoms one week prior to the appointment, they must cancel and rearrange their treatment with immediate effect. 

Inappropriate Behaviour

  • Balance and Wellness has the right to end any treatment immediately if the client demonstrates inappropriate or sexual behaviour. The client will be liable for full payment of the treatment in this instance.
  • Where the therapist is unable to collect payment for the treatment, the client will be sent an invoice, to be payable within 5 days of the appointment. 

Vouchers

  • Vouchers can be bought in denominations of £10s and can be used against any available treatment offered by Balance and Wellness. 
  • If the whole amount for the voucher is not used, another voucher for the remaining balance will be issued. 
  • All vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue.
  • Vouchers can be bought online, postage will be due unless an electronic voucher is requested. 
  • All vouchers issued are non refundable and cannot be reissued or extended past expiry date. 

Referral voucher scheme

  • If you refer a new client who has completed their first successful treatment, you, the client, will receive a 30% off voucher to be used against any available treatment.
  • Referral vouchers are valid for 3 months from date of issue.
  • Referral vouchers are issued in the client’s name and cannot be transferred.

Payment

  • Balance and Wellness accept payments in cash, card or bank transfer.Paypal is not accepted. 
  • Payment is due at the end of the treatment and before the client leaves the premises.
  • Where payment has not been possible at the end of the appointment, the balance must be paid within 5 days.

Privacy

  • Client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client. Where the client is under the age of 18, details will be discussed with the young client’s parent, guardian or caregiver. 
  • Consultations will only be discussed with the client, except where they are under the age of 18, as above.
  • Consultation and treatment notes will be kept on file electronically and securely. 
  • All clients are required to complete a consultation form prior to receiving any treatments with Balance and Wellness, this may be on paper or electronically. 
  • By signing the consultation form, or completing the online consultation, the clients give Balance and Wellness permission to hold records and data about the, in accordance with the Privacy policy. 
  • Personal information will not be shared with any 3rd parties. 

Young clients

  • Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. This should be a parent, guardian or caregiver. Where the adult is not any of these, they will be required to provide Balance and Wellness with their name, address and contact details. 
  • The adult must give permission for the treatment to go ahead and they must co-sign the consultation form, providing their name, address and contact details.
  • The adult must be present in the room for the duration of the treatment.m

October 20% off promotions

  • 20% off promotion will be live from 1st October 2021 to 31st October 2021. 
  • 20% applies to all available treatments at Balance and Wellness. 
  • You can book treatments, up to and including 30th December 2021, excluding rest days and bank holidays. 
  • Bookings must be made by 31st October 2021 and require a 50% deposit.
  • Appointments can not be changed to a date outside of the expiry date. 
  • All standard booking and cancellation policies apply.
